Embassies mobilize associations to promote Algerian bodies transport abroad
Algerian embassies and consulates abroad launched a promotional campaign for a new assurance form of transporting bodies of Algerians died abroad.
This comes in an attempt to convince Algerians living abroad of the feasibility of the measure as it was rejected by their representatives and associations.
Delegate minister in charge of consulate affairs at the Algerian embassy in Madrid Abdelaziz Djaafri gave an instruction to accredited Algerian associations in Spain to promote the assurance form among Algerians living there.
The instruction stressed the necessity of explaining the new form advantages which do not require any specific age or specific category.
It says the form is available online and it has a special offer for families, married couples and children through a number of agencies such as the Local Development Bank (BDL) and the Agriculture and Rural Development Bank (BADR).
Applicants can pay in Algerian Dinar and discounts are offered for families and collective enrollments of more than 50 persons. Subscription for single, divorced or widow people is for 25 Euros, 50 Euros for married people, 60 Euros for a couple with one children, 70 Euros for a couple with two children, 75 Euros for a couple with three children and 90 Euros for a couple with four children or more.
Earlier in a meeting with foreign minister, representatives of Algerians living abroad rejected the new insurance form saying they are working on a draft law which stipulates to pay a sum of money for consulate card renewal.
Coordinator of Algerian Citizens’ Movement in France Omar Ait Mokhtar told Echorouk the ministry took that measure without consulting the representatives of Algerians living abroad.
