European Court to consider a complaint by an Algerian against Mossad, French authorities

The European Court of Human Rights in the French city Strasbourg decided to accept the lawsuit evoked in 2009 by the Algerian Bouzaher Al Arbi, 54, who is currently living in the district of Hasnawi (Khenchla, eastern Algeria), against the French authorities and the Mossad on charges of torture, detention with intentional beating and assault, and attempt of murder.
Bouzaher told Echorouk that he is insist on compensation for the damages he faced following the refusal of Hague court to accept his complaint in 2009, before resorting to the European Court after he was subject to an assassination attempt in Tunis during a tourist trip, where he accused the Israeli Intelligence of chasing him using an agent who is implicated, according to him, in assassinating the Palestinian leader Mahmoud El Mabhouh.
The case of Bouzaher back to the eighties, when the French intelligence put him under the microscope because of an old case dating back to 1987, when he was living in Grenoble, and was arrested because of the strong si similarities between him and an Iranian spy named Wahid Korji.
“I was tortured during 90 hours, then released, before being arrested again for 48 hours , then freed again. After things return back to normale, I decided to ask for my rights, and I deposited a judicial lawsuit in 5 October 2009 in the court of Hague, then I sent another letter to the same Court to provide protection, and I received an OK”.
“When I was in Tunis for holidays, French intelligence chased me, and when I arrived to Djerba Island I noticed that someone is monitoring my movements accompanied by a woman. I wanted to take their pictures for use as an evidence, and i asked my French friend to take a picture in which the two agents were shown, then I informed the director of the hotel about this event, but we were surprised by their disappearance from the hotel and the whole Island”.
“When the holidays ended, I returned back to Algeria, and I launched a search in the case of assassinating the Palestinian leader Al Mabhouh, and I discovered that one of the implicated is the same person who chased me”.
