FAF eminent new president names staff

The only candidate to the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) elections has set up a list for his federal bureau including names who have never held positions at the FAF.

Mohamed Raouraoua who is likely to be elected at the head of the FAF on February 16 has chosen the two former international referees Belaid Lekarne and Djezzar.

Abdelkader Chaabane will be Raouraoua’s surprise as he preferred to join the federal bureau after he had given up participating in the elections.

Former member Mohamed Mechrara is expected to hold his position in the federal bureau once again while Rabeh Madjer has likely accepted to work with the new federal bureau.

A well-known French coach is also expected to be the chief of the new technical staff.
