FAF Federation and Saâdane want a European referee for Algeria-Egypt qualifier in Cairo
The disastrous and upsetting refereeing of Guinean Keïta Yakuba marred the final outcome of last Sunday's decisive qualifier in Blida stadium between Algeria and Rwanda (3-1) as part of the combined qualifying race for the 2010 World cup and Africa cup of nations' competitions.
-
The Guinean referee totally went astray and bungled the whole game with his mind–boggling and warped decisions.
-
-
He outrageously stripped the Algeria squad of 2 bona-fide goals in the first half of the match to the utter dismay of all the Algerian fans.
-
-
The final scoring should have been in principle much heavier (5 goals to 1) in favour of the Algerian line-up if this referee was upright and up to the mark by taking the appropriate decisions.

According to reliable sources close to the Algerian Football Federation (FAF), its chairman Mohamed Raouraoua has decided, in conjunction with national team coach Rabah Saâdane to officially request from FIFA President Joseph Blatter the designation of a European referee for the crucial and last World Cup qualifier between Egypt and Algeria slated for November 14th in Cairo stadium.
