FAF head: baccalaureate compulsory for referees

Head of the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) Mohamed Raouraoua said Wednesday there is a need to create a training centre for local teams in the west as they have a very low level.

“The plan needs the help of the FIFA Goal Project to achieve it as soon as possible,” he said on the sidelines of a visit to Oran (west of Algiers).

Raouraoua pointed out the controversial problem of referees, saying applicants must have the baccalaureate diploma.
