Faouzi Ghoulam’s Business Manager Negotiates With Olympic de Marseille

Manager of the Algerian international, Faouzi Ghoulam, is negotiating with the management of the French club Marseille in order to conclude a deal to transfer this defender, in the winter transfer market for next January.

It is known that Faouzi Ghoulam assigns negotiation matters to the famous international Portuguese Manager, Jorge Mendes, who also sponsors the business of Portuguese football professionals like the Coach Jose Mourinho (Tottenham) and the striker Cristiano Ronaldo (Juventus, Italy).

Ghoulam does not want to waste time and an entire season, by waiting for what his new coach in the Italian Napoli technical team, Gennaro Gattuso, will decide. This is why he commissioned his business manager Jorge Mendes to negotiate with Olympique Marseille club officials, the leading champion of the French championship. As reported by the Italian newspaper “La Gazzetta Dello Sport”, on Sunday.

Coach Gennaro Gattuso has made it clear to Faouzi Ghoulam in the past few days that his stay in the Napoli team is linked to what he offers in training sessions. This seems to be something that the Algerian defender did not like, especially since Gattuso assigned the club’s administration to search for a new left-back, to be appointed in January.

In a related context, the Inter Milan team entered the race to delegate Faouzi Ghoulam in the winter transfer market for next January, as reported by the Italian newspaper “Totosport”, on Sunday, which added that club’s officials suggest laying off the striker Matteo Politano,26, to the Napoli team, in exchange for bringing Ghoulam.

Matteo Politano had only two main matches in the Italian championship for the current season, out of 17 matches of his team Inter Milan.

Inter Milan is at the top of the Italian championship, accompanied by Juventus after 17 rounds have passed.

Faouzi Ghoulam (28) has an Italian contract with Napoli, a contract that expires in the summer of 2022.

Ghoulam went through a bad position in his Italian team, Napoli, after he was outside the tactical calculations of the new coach, Gennaro Gattuso, who followed in the footsteps of his predecessor Carlo Ancelotti.

Faouzi Ghoulam did not play any official match with his team, Napoli, since about three months ago, and exactly since October 6, due to injury, and also because of tactical options of the technical staff.
