Finance Minister Meets With Russia’s Ambassador To Algeria

The Finance Minister, Aymen Benabderrahmane, received, on Tuesday, the ambassador of the Russian Federation to Algeria, Igor Beliaev, at the headquarters of his ministerial department.
“On this occasion, the two officials discussed the status of economic cooperation and partnership between the two countries and ways to enhance, expressed their satisfaction with the positive development of bilateral cooperation in recent years, and called for further strengthening of trade between them, development of investment and expansion of its fields”, a statement by the ministry said.
The Minister of Finance affirmed Algeria’s commitment to strengthening and diversify the economic and financial cooperation with Russia, and to achieve this, the issue of the next session of the Mixed Committee for Economic, Commercial, Scientific and Technical Cooperation, which is scheduled to be held in Algiers, was discussed, and dates were proposed in this regard.
