FLN Crisis: Amar Saadani imposed the closure of the upcoming Presidential Elections’ game

Conflict between FLN opponents exacerbated, and through it the wings of the power with the beginning of the countdown to the date of the session of the Central Committee for the election of the Secretary General of the party, in the light of the insistence of the coordinator of the Political Bureau, Abderrahman Belaiat, and his team to hold it in Riyad Hotel in Sidi Faraj, while the group of Boumehdi decided permanently to hold it in Algiers Al Aurassi Hotel, while this threatens the holding of two sessions at the same time and thus the demarcation of the division.

Until Sunday evening the insistence of the conflicting parties within FLN was clear, after the intervention of the Interior Ministry on the front line, because of their adherence to the venue of the two sessions, which in case this will happen they will elect two General Secretaries after eight months of the vacancy of position, as the interior ministry did not respond to a request by Belaiat for another license to hold the session of the Committee in Riyad Hotel instead of Al Aurassi Hotel, due to the high cost of renting the hall, and Belaiat’s certainty that the Central Committee members will come to Riad Hotel on calls which he launched on Sunday, in accordance with Article IX of the Domestic Law of the party.

For his part, the wing of Amar Saidani, announced his defiance to Belaiat, by showing the license of holding the meeting at Riyad Hotel, and asserted that if this will happen, they will abolish the meeting at Al Aurassi Hotel, as Belaiat opponents that in case the latter will insist on holding the session in Sidi Fradj without a license, this would push the activists to protest, and this is punishable by law.
