Following the terrorist attack targeting the municipal guards east of Algeria: Security services arrest forty people on charges of supporting terrorism

Algerian security services arrested forty people and transferred them to justice on Sunday in the court of Ain Elkebira, north of Setif, east of Algeria on charges of supporting terrorism.  

• The forty people have been arrested following investigation by the national gendarmerie after the terrorist attacks which targeted the municipal guards in the region of Ain Essabt, where two bombs exploded killing a lot of guards.

• According to available information, the Algerian gendarmerie launched investigation that spread to the neighbouring regions and resulted in the arrest of forty people, 24 of them have been jailed in the provisional detention on charges of supporting terrorism, while the rest benefited from provisional release until their trial.
