Football: Good News For Algerian International Goalkeeper “Okidja”

French doctor of French football club Metz has given the injured Algerian international goalkeeper, Alexandre Okidja, the green light, to return to the competition any time soon.

This came, Thursday, in a statement issued by the management of French club of Metz, which indicated that Alexandre Okidja had undergone medical tests, which revealed his health status and the possibility of him returning to competition as from next Saturday, in a planned match versus OM Marseille.

The Metz team is thus to face the squad of OM Marseille, as part of the 18th round of the French football championship.

Goalkeeper Alexandre Okidja, is widely regarded as a key player of the Metz line-up.

Alexandre Okidja was exposed to a brain shock, during a French League 1 match on the evening of December 4th this year. He fell unconscious in the 41st minute of the game, and was swiftly transferred out of the stadium to hospital for intensive treatment.

For reference, Alexandre Okidja (31 years old) is an essential goalkeeper for the Metz team, with whom he participated in 16 matches as part of the French football championship this season.
