Football: JS Kabylie Sign Italian Coach Enrico Fabbro
The club of JS Kabylie have employed Italian coach Enrico Fabbro after talks with a number of French expatriates failed to come to fruition, the club’s president Mohand Chérif Hannachi, announced on Thursday.
- The Canaries of Kabylia had been in quest of a foreign coach to redress the outfit in the wake of a dismal season in the domestic first league and continental challenges.
- The 53-year-old formerly managed Lazio’s youth team before taking charge of Algeria’s MC Algiers between 2006 and 2008, during which he won the Algeria Super Cup.
- Enrico Fabbro signed a one-year deal with JS Kabylie for an undisclosed amount.
- ES Setif clinched the Algerian Ligue 1 championship title for the 2011-2012 season, becoming their fifth title, in addition to the Algeria Cup trophy.
