Former Administration Director of Algerian Police sentenced to 7 years

Presumed murderer of late Colonel Ali Tounsi has been sentenced to seven years imprisonment The verdict was read by the President of the Criminal Court of Sidi M'hamed in Algiers against Chouaib Oultache for his involvement in money laundering in 2007 for the benefit of the Algerian company Business Multimedia (ABM).

 

The former head of the Algerian Gendarmerie Heliport unit National Security General Command (DGSN), Chouaib Oultache, charged with the murder of the former General Manager of the DGSN Mr. Ali Tounsi. In 2010, Oultache was sentenced to seven years in prison for embezzlement, judicial sources said.

No one from the people charged with links to Oultache money laundering case was released. The twenty-seven people brought to the tribunal were all charged with money bonuses. The prosecutor required imprisonment 3 to 7 years periods where criminals want ending a defence lawyer.

Oultache, a former Head of security (DGSN,) was also charged with influencing the commission of technical evaluation of bids so that this one attributes the market to the company ABM in which his brother-in-law is a shareholder and deputy-manager.
