French “Occupation” Army Commits A New Folly!
The Algerian-French relations are likely to escalate again, and the reason always remains the French party, which seems to be looking for something awry through its repeated provocations, which aren’t without repercussions on the bilateral relations.
The latest provocation of the former colony is dangerous in every sense of the word, because the institution behind this provocation is the one that the Algerians hate the most, that is the French army, the descendant of the colonial army, which had meted out millions of Algerians for more than a century, the scourge of slaughter, as well as displacement and starvation.
As a matter of fact, the French Army Command Staff, on its Twitter page, has posted a photo that affects the country’s territorial integrity, by trying to suggest that the Kabylie region is not subordinate to national sovereignty, in an outpost that does not know its purpose, even if the Algerians are aware of its truth and its backgrounds, just because the Who who is behind it, is the French army.
The scandalous photo shows a French soldier placing an arrow on a tree stump, showing the position of the French army towards many countries, and among these arrows there is an arrow pointing to Algeria, and includes the national flag and its international symbol dz.
The other issue is the problem here. The arrow itself bore a picture highlighting the “Amazigh” banner, paired with the name of Tizi Ouzou, which is one of the provinces of the Algerian homeland, with the word “polka” that is circulated on social networks, as a symbol of the tribal region.
The French Army Chiefs of Staff posted this picture on its Twitter page, coinciding with the vile campaign launched by Reporters Without Borders against Algeria, against the background of allegations of restrictions on freedom of expression, with Algeria being ranked 146th in the world in terms of freedom of expression and the press.
Reporters Without Borders (RSF) is anonymous for its identity. It was founded by Robert Menard, one of the actors in the party of the National Patriotic Front, which is headed by Marine Le Pen, a far-right party known for its imitation of a culture of hatred and racism, its hostility to Algeria, and the Algerian community residing in France.
This position on the French military establishment was only a link in the series of the Enemies of Algeria, as France 24 channel affiliated with the Ministry of Europe and French Foreign Affairs has launched a campaign against Algeria since the outbreak of the popular movement or hirak that came to Bouteflika’s regime being accused by many Algerians, of serving French interests, and the last thing is that the latter did host a Jewish personality of Algerian origin, known for his bitter hostility to everything that is Algerian, in order to attack on the air the national military establishment and the presidential institution, by questioning the legitimacy of the election of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
This unacceptable provocation is the most dangerous of the strings of French provocations towards Algeria, and it appears that the features of the Algerian response were uttered by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune in his latest media exit, concerning one of the arrested journalists who was accused of colliding with the French authorities, stressing that the freed reporter headed to the French embassy immediately after the end of security questioning.
