Gaddafi to participate in popular protests to topple his cabinet
Political activists called for an « Anger Day » to be held on February 17th to topple the government in Libya, according to Libyan newspapers and websites.

Libyans wrote on their walls on Facebook “Didn’t Gaddafi say it is people who run the government? So, we are calling for exercising our right. Gaddafi was the first who recognized it.”
About 2,000 Facebook members joined the anti-government group. On the other hand, another group emerged named ‘Libya’s young men and women are proud of their leader Maamar Gaddafi.” They called for facing any act meant to hit Libya’s stability.
Addar newspaper said Sunday that Libyan President Maamar Gaddafi will show solidarity to people and participate in the protests.
Yasmine from Egypt said commented on Facebook, saying “He thought it would be better to stand by people’s side before they push him out.”
Chafik from Saudi Arabia said “Maybe he feels that he oppressed people and want to fix that or hit is a new movement in protests. It is 2011 Movement. He thought he would be the first president who took to the street with his people.”
“The president has the right to participate in protests whenever he wants. He is part of people,” says Hanane from Syria.
