Gaid Salah: “Prejudice Against The Army Is Part Of A Malicious Plot”

Gaid Salah, said on the third day of his visit to the fourth military region in Ouergla (southern Algeria): “On this occasion, I would like to recall and emphasize some of the points I made in my speech last Monday in Ain Amenas, given its importance to the fate of the country in this delicate situation, in which some political parties still demand dialogue, and even negotiate directly with the military institution, following the example of experiences in some countries in the region in dealing with crises, forgetting that Algeria, with its long history, faithful people and with its steady leadership positions, is always the role model, not the other way around”.

“Although they know with certainty our firm position on this matter, which we have confirmed more than once, that the army will remain committed to the constitutional solution to the crisis, based on its belief that the modern state is the state of institutions, and adherence to the Constitution is a key title to maintain the state entity and continuity, and that the army institution works to accompany the Algerian faithful people which urgently calls for the urgent holding of the presidential elections. These people to whom we have all the respect and consideration, and who has firmly encouraged and supported all the good initiatives of the military institution.”

Gaid Salah considered “prejudice against the military institution is part of a malicious scheme which aimed at restricting or neutralizing the role of the army, which provided a lesson for all, in the loyalty, faithfulness, and protection of the homeland. Its leadership was the first to respond to the popular demands before any other party, which threatened the interests of the corrupts, the mafia and its members by thwarting their plans to reformulate the national scene according to the whims and the interests of their masters.”

“We say to these people, leave Algeria to its loyal children. They are worthy of it, capable of building and protecting it. We are convinced that our people who aspire to live in peace and tranquility in the context of security and stability deserve to live a dignified life in their country. This people, who are exemplified by patriotism and sincerity, supported and blessed the military institution’s endeavors”.

Regarding the presidential elections, Gaid Salah reiterated that; “The situation does not tolerate any further delay, but requires that these fateful elections must be held in the life and future of the country within the time limits I have mentioned in my previous interventions, which are reasonable and acceptable deadlines reflecting an urgent popular demand for the establishment of a state of right and law”.

“In mentioning the rule of law, we never hope to emphasize our standing and accompanying the men of justice, who perform their noble duties faithfully and who are ensuring the restoration of the prestige of the state, by addressing the various files of corruption, and reassuring the Algerian people that in the country of truth and law, this people who starved and suffered due to the corrupts and the mafia, which calls us on every occasion, to emphasize the support of the efforts of the men of justice and stand by them, and commend their courage and determination to cleanse our country of these gangs and corrupts”.

“The selfishness has blinded those who do not know the value of this country and its people, and they work to mislead the people, trying in vain to misrepresent public opinion and spread suspicions against any good national initiative, seeking to overcome the crisis, and working to plunge our country into an endless maze, serving the gang and those who walk in its orbit, and for these adventurous conspirators, we say that we in the National People’s Army, will remain forever, accompanied by all the patriots who are loyal to the era of our righteous martyrs, we are only loyal to our Allah and then to the homeland”.
