Gaid Salah: “The Gang And Those Who Are Under Their Sway Are Intruders And Strangers To The Algerian People”

Lieutenant General Ahmed Gaïd Salah, Deputy Minister of National Defense, Chief of Staff of the National People’s Army (ANP), chaired a working meeting at the headquarters of the 2nd Military Region Command in Oran, western Algeria, on Tuesday September 1st , according to a statement from the Ministry of National Defense (MDN).
On the fourth day of his field visit to the 2nd Military Region and after supervising the conduct of missile exercises against ground and surface targets, and following guidance meetings held with the Region’s officials and personnel, Lieutenant General Ahmed Gaïd Salah, Deputy Minister of National Defence, Chief of Staff of the ANP, chaired a working meeting at the Region’s Command Headquarters,” the statement said.
The Lieutenant General indicated, during his speech to the officers and staff of the Region, that “it has become clear today that the nefarious gang and all those who orbit around it and submit to its orders, are intruders and strangers to the Algerian people,” the statement said.
For the Chief of Staff of the ANP, “it is clear today that this gang and all those who orbit it and submit to its orders are intruders and strangers to the Algerian people”, stressing that “anyone who does not serve the interests of the country in its true sense is an intruder or even an enemy of the country”.
Indeed, Mr Gaid Salah added, “this group has no right to think, because the occult parts, which stand behind it, are the brain that thinks for them and orders them to execute”, stating, in this regard, that “our words are not unfounded, we have data that confirm the involvement of these traitors and we will undoubtedly take all necessary measures against this nefarious group in due course and in the name of the law”.
“No tolerance is allowed towards this group, which has become accustomed to imposing its iniquitous will on the majority. This era of iniquity is over forever,” said the Lieutenant General, adding that “today, the Algerian people have a say in how to build the rule of law where no one is sovereign except the law”.
He warned that “anyone who tries to hinder this process will harm himself. The honest men of Algeria will no longer accept that the enemies of the homeland interfere in the destiny of the nation”.
Mr. Gaid Salah recalled, in the same context, that “the Algerian people suffered enormously during the colonial era, and will never again, under any circumstances, relive other moments of suffering. These are the legitimate expectations that faithful, noble and loyal men will ensure that Allah Almighty and the country will fulfill on the ground,” he further stated.
“They speak and act without procrastination, like those who claim to be educated and know the law, but act in total contradiction with the law and completely far from what is right, through biased statements, omitting that the only criterion for judging actions and words is the Algerian people. Also, anyone who wants to measure his true worth should run for office, otherwise everything else is ineptitude and worthless,” underscored the Lieutenant General.
