Ghoulamallah:Salafists recruit female guides to spread strange ideas
Religious Affairs and Endowments Minister, Bou Abdellah Ghoulamallah, sent an instruction to managers of religious affairs, which prevent handing over kids who study in Koranic schools to strangers.
Ghoulamallah announced the launch of unifying the educational curricula on these sections, asserting that the religious guides have become targeted by the Salafism, as they warned of being used as a
means to disseminate ideas that oppose what we inherited from our ancestors.
Goulamallah said, on the sidelines of a meeting with the religious guides at the Imam`s house, the phenomenon of kids kidnapping is one of the diseases which hit the society, because some people do not care
to do a positive act in the benefit of their society.
“An instruction about the necessity to be careful when handing over kids who study in Koranic schools to their parents. I asked the directorate of guidance to prepare a special program for the sections
to be unified, to control information that are provided to kids, especially from the pre employment youth who do not have enough experience“.
The minister called upon the religious guides to contribute in unifying the society, through preserving its culture and doctrinal choices, asserting that the Islamic doctrine has many choices; “We
should follow the positions of our ancestors, instead of other directions that we are not sure if they fit with the current situation
of our society“.
“Religious guides have become targeted by these trends, like the Salafism, which is seeking to control the mosques, because they work in secrecy and their influence on others is not visible, and they are
women who represent the basis of the united society, as they are consulted by everyone entering the mosque, but they should not be an
easy means for spreading ideas which do not serve what we have inherited from our ancestors“.
