Grand Mosque preacher warns of Shiism in Algeria

Grand Mosque preacher and President of International Islamic Fiqh Academy , Sheikh Saleh Ben Abdellah Ben Hamid, called for the need to address the issue of Shiism in Algeria and some Arab countries, noting that the issue is still on the table of discussion.

Sheikh Saleh Ben Abdellah Ben Hamid, was keen in a speech that he delivered in Algiers House of Imam, on sending a message to young people in particular, including the rejection of difference and pursue moderation, with emphasis on the need to avoid division and hatred.
“Strive to unify the nation because disagreement is evil. Present time is the time of the meeting and reunification, there is no time for disagreement and rivalry. It would be better to realize that the enemies of Islam are standing toughly on every call for the right, and back to the origins of Islam and its basic elements, principles and realities that sends a spirit of pride in the nation and lead to glory.”
Regarding the mess of Fatwas by the satellite channels specifically, Sheikh Saleh Ben Abdellah Ben Hamid, who is a member of the Council of Senior Scholars in Saudi Arabia, said the fatwa applicant should consult the people of his country first, and those who are qualified to do so from the nation’s scholars, and circulated his advice to preachers, asking them to give interest to the Shatia science and not following the conflicts and passions, especially with the advent of social networks, which facilitate the spread of the news significantly, stressing that it is the duty of Imams to collect the word, and protect Muslims from evil of discord and rumors.
