Halilhodzic Calls Up 31 Players Ahead of Cameroon, Tunisia Friendly Clashes

Cameroon Football Federation said on Tuesday that the national squad are due to arrive to Algeria on 13 November ahead of a friendly clash with the Desert Foxes scheduled on the same day.

 

 

But before arriving to Algeria, the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon should be participating in a friendly tournament in Marrakech, together with Morocco and Sudan squads.

The coach of Cameroon, Javier Clemente, endures pressures from the Ministry of Sport to push him resigning, as the squad are already out of CAN 2012, local press said.

Yet, the majority of players, Samuel Eto’o, on the top of the them, require maintaining the Spanish coach and letting him continue his work ahead of the coming fixtures, Including CAN 2013 and the World Cup 2014 in Brazil, the source added.

Algeria will face Cameroon and Tunisia on 13 and 15 November in Tchaker Stadium in Blida, and 5 July Stadium in Algiers, respectively. 

In this regard, the manager of the Desert Foxes, Vahid Halilhodzic, has unveiled on Tuesday the list of 31 internationalists who are to take part in the training camp that precedes the aforementioned friendly games, and which is scheduled from 8 to 16 November.

The Bosnian coach has called up for the first time Valencia midfielder Sofiane Feghouli, CA Batna striker Said Bouchouk, and yet recalled both Sochaux playmaker Ryad Boudebouz,  and Al Jaish’ captain Karim Ziani.
