Halilhodzic Resorts to Ghezzal to Replace Injured Yebda

Bosnian Manager of Algeria Football Squad, Vahid Halihodzich has called up Levante’s striker Abdelkader Ghezzal, to reinforce the “Greens” ahead of second round qualifiers to the African Cup of Nations 2013, against Gambia on 29 February, the Algerian FA confirmed on Monday.

In fact the “Greens’” coach resorted to Ghezzal to replace Hassan Yebda, who is out until the end of the season, due to a serious injury he endured in his right knee, Saturday during a training session with his Spanish side Granada. 

Ghezzal has previously been placed in list of four reservist players, before being called up to the squad concerned by the upcoming clash in Banjul, against Gambia.
