Hassan Hattab's right-hand man benefits from reconciliation measures

Informed sources told “Echorouk ” that Alalou Hmida also nicknamed “Abou Khaled,” who is considered the right-hand man of Hassan Hattab, the former national leader of the Salafist Group for Preaching and Combat “GSPC” benefited from the clemency provisions enshrined in the charter for peace and national reconciliation. 

• The repentant terrorist took advantage of the scrapping of 15 years of legal proceedings brought against him as part of a judicial case kickstarted in 2006 on charges of belonging to a terrorist group. 
• Sources from his family confirmed the information and told “Echorouk” that Allalou Hmida had been  informed that justice rescinded all the legal proceedings against him after the court’s verdict was postponed several times on charges of belonging to a terrorist group.
