Interior Minister Ould Kablia describes upward promotion movement within National Police as “historic”
The Algerian Minister of the Interior and local assemblies, Dahou Ould Kablia, has described the upward promotion movement within the National Police Services (DGSN) as historic.
Mr Ould Kablia indicated that the number of those policemen and policewomen who got promoted to a higher rank within the DGSN had skyrocketed reaching 7,594 including 1,862 women.
He said that the enforcement and the enshrinement of security at all levels was the basis of creativity, and the lever of scientific, economic and social revival in Algeria.
The Minster of the Interior and local assemblies made the statement outside the commemoration ceremony on Monday night at the locality of El Hamiz on the eastern outskirts of Algiers of the 51st anniversary of the creation of the Algerian Police in the presence of the DGSN General Manager, Major-General Abdelghani Hamel.
Members of the government, senior state executives, civil society members and members of the foreign diplomatic corps posted in Algiers were also in attendance.
