The Commissioner for Peace and Security of the African Union, Ismail Sharqi, announced, Tuesday, that the Peace and Security Council of the African Union will hold early February a summit to discuss the situation in Libya and the Sahel region, which have been experiencing instability for years.

“This meeting, which will be held on the eve of the African Union summit is scheduled for February 8 and 9 in Addis Ababa.
