Interpol arrests son of Abbasi Madani on charges of involvement in Houari Boumediene airport bombing
Indian security services arrested last weekend the son of the founder of the dissolved Islamic Front Party FIS, Abbasi Madani, following an arrest warrant issued by Interpol on charges of involvement in the bombing of Houari Boumerdiene airport in 1992.

Ossama, brother of Salim Abbasi, who was arrested in Bombay since last Wednesday told El Arabia Net website Friday that his detained brother was coming from Malaysia and entered India with a visa after receiving a formal invitation because he is a businessmen.

However, the Indian authorities detained him after they found his name on the list of Interpol.

Previously, the Algerian justice council passed down a death sentence against the accused for htheir implication in the bombing of Houari Boumediene airport including Houcine Abderrahim, Rachid Hcheichi, Soussane Said and Rabhi Mohamed. The order was implemented in 1993.
