The court refused to extradite Mohamed Nanouche, former CEO of Khalifa Bank and Ghazi Kebbache, a founder of Khalifa Group while it continues investigating in the same issue. The concerned suspects were summoned to hear them on money laundry-related cases.

Ghazi Kebbache and Mohamed Nanouche appeared in court on September 12 and October 7 in 2007 after they were arrested on May 29th, 2007.

A court in Algeria sentenced them to 20 years in prison on March 22 in 2007 with an international arrest warrant against Ghazi Kebbache and Mohamed Nanouche.
