Italian Medical Center: Victoria flu to kill a lot of children in Algeria

Italian Medical Centre warned of a new epidemic that mat spread in the North African countries and Southern Europe during January and February. 

• The Centre of Research on Combating Bacteria in Milan said the new pandemic named “Victoria” is a kind of influenza, and it is as dangerous as A/H1N1 virus that causes swine flu, adding that the new pandemic is a threat to children in particular, and may hit the North African region, especially Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, Morocco and Libya, as well as some countries in Southern Europe and some Asian countries like Japan, Hong Kong and China.

• The Italian centre also asserted that the pandemic can be brought under control, and it spreads because of low temperatures, explaining that Victoria virus is able to change rapidly and can attack the human immune system and thus causing a lifelong influenza.

• The centre advised the use of antibiotics in order to avoid infection with the virus, and access to seasonal influenza vaccine, because it contributes in stopping the enzyme “Theniora Mendez” which is dangerous within the infected cells.

• The report also advised caution especially during January and February, and allowing the children to take off outside the home because the new virus targets those who prefer stating at homes.

• The Italian report said Victoria virus, is one of the influenza viruses “Class B” and carries the scientific name H3N2, and caused in the past death of millions.
