Italy Opens 30,000 Jobs For Foreign Nationals, Including Algerians

Italian Interior Ministry announced the opening of more than 30,000 jobs for seasonal and non-seasonal foreign workers from 30 countries outside the European Union, including Algeria and several other countries such as Morocco, Tunisia and Egypt.

According to the latest Official Gazette of the Italian Republic, the number of foreign employment posts within the framework of the decree of the influx of seasonal and non-seasonal work was set at 30,850, directed to nationals of 30 countries: Algeria, Germany, Bangladesh, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Korean Republic, Côte d’Ivoire, Egypt, El Salvador, Ethiopia, the Philippines, Gambia, Ghana, Japan, India, Kosovo, Mali, Morocco, Mauritius Islands, Moldova, Montenegro, Niger, Nigeria, Pakistan, North Macedonia, Senegal, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Tunisia and Ukraine.

According to the decree, Algerians and the rest of the nationalities concerned with employment in Italy can apply for 12,850 jobs related to subsidiary jobs (sub-jobs in several sectors), and non-seasonal or independent work in the sectors of transporting goods, construction and tourist hotels, and a quota of this category will be allocated to students who have completed training programs in Italy.

Italian decree explained that applications can be sent starting from October 22nd, and will continue until December 31, 2020.

The decree indicated that 18,000 seasonal jobs will be allocated to Algerians and workers of the aforementioned countries in the sectors of agriculture, tourism and hotels, and a quota of 6000 jobs will be allocated to workers coming from the aforementioned list of countries as part of the experiment, and applications can be sent from 9 am of 27 October.

The process of filling out the application forms to apply for jobs will start from October 13 at 9.00 am, through the following website https: //nullaostalavoro.dlci.interno.it and applications can be submitted until December 31, 2020.
