Karim Tabbou Remanded In Custody For “Involvement In An Army Demoralization Venture”

Karim Tabbou, the coordinator of the Democratic and Social Union (UDS/non-approved party), was placed under a warrant of arrest by the investigating judge of the Koléa Court, before whom he was presented on Thursday morning.
It is his lawyer Noureddine Ahmine, who wrote on his Facebook page, that Karim Tabbou has been remanded in custody for “participating in an army demoralization venture”.
As a reminder, the head of the UDS was arrested yesterday by plainclothes men outside his home in Douéra (in suburban Algiers), and was brought Thursday morning before the Public Prosecutor of the Koléa Court, who decided to refer him to the investigative judge.
