Large number of Algerian fans booked places to support their team in South Africa while French fans prefer travelling for tourism
Number of Algerians living in France who had booked places towards South Africa to support Algeria’s team during the World Cup has exceeded the French fans who decided to travel to the same country this summer. The reason is that French fans are seeking tourism at a time Algerians intend to support their team before returning back to France.

French press reports confirm Friday that the number of Algerians who have booked their places to travel to South Africa in order to support the Desert Warriors is much larger than the number of French fans who have decided to accompany their team to the country of Nelson Mandela to attend the final matches of the nineteenth session of the FIFA World Cup.

According to information gathered by the fourth travel agencies adopted by the FIFA in France for the sale of tickets for the World Cup, there is a large difference between the tourist products that are accepted by Algerians in France and those ordered by the French, as those who have decided to allocate a share of their budget to move to South Africa for tourism reasons and also to support their team, while Algerians have only one aim which is supporting the Desert Warriors.
