Louiza Hanoune: “Parties Invited us to Revolution after the Elections' Results”
Parties from outside the party and its activists asked her to protest in the streets immediately after the announcement of the results of the last legislative elections, due to the fraud, which had negative affects on the Labour Party, General Secretary Louiza Hanoune said.
In her meeting with members of the Party in the library of Harrach (Algiers) on Friday, Louiza Hanoune asserted that the parties wanted to exploit the Labour Party to get out into the street to protest over the elections’ results, noting that the activists of the party wanted to go out to the street to express their rejection of the fabricated results.
“The new Parliament has no popular and social bases. Its objectives are vague and unclear. It can be exploited as an excuse to import the Orange Revolution to Algeria, and justified its position on the fact that the party does not want Algeria to live in condition that were lived and experienced by Arab countries. The National Democratic Rally shared the positions of our party like the base 51/49 percent for foreign investment and the parliamentary immunity of the deputies, the dirty money and the mafia who had entered into politics. RND officials contacted me to coordinate work on these issues. Such coordination has nothing to do at all with the alliance between the parliamentary blocs and between the two parties. The alliance will be based on the programs and between the parties that share the same ideologies like the Green Algeria Bloc, but the Labour Party is left-wing and RND is a centrist party, and it can never be our ally”.
