Madjid Bougerra to Echorouk: “I’m back before end of Aprilâ€
Algeria International defender Madjid Bougerra assured during his interview with Echorouk Algerian fans saying that his return will not last more than three weeks and that he came to Doha for treating the injury in order to play the coming match against the Atlas Lions next June.
- Echorouk: You came to Doha for continuing the treatment of injury in Aspetar?
- Madjid Bougerra: I am in Doha for some rest and to continue treatment of injury which prevented me from playing against Morocco.
- Echorouk: Tell us about the results of the tests. When will you return to the stadiums?
- Madjid Bougerra: After two weeks or a month at most I will return to the fields because the injury is not dangerous and it is just a simple injury at the back of the thigh muscle. Aspitar doctors assured me after examination and said the return will be faster than I expected.
- Echorouk: Don’t you think that one month is too long?
- Bougerra: I do, I mean I will be ready to play and not only for training.
- Echorouk: When will you return exactly in order to assure Algerian fans?
Bougerra: May be before the end of April or during the third week of April. I will be ready to play 90 minutes and with the same level.
- Echorouk: So you will play against Atlas Lions on June?
- Bougerra: Inchallah, I already told you that I will not be absent for more than three weeks.
- Echorouk: Tell us about the match vs. Morocco?
- Bougerra: I am here for treatment and some rest therefore I do not want to talk about our team.
- Echorouk: We only want to say that the majority of fans were happy when we won over Morocco, but they are not satisfied with the team’s performance.
- Bougerra: Pressure was high on the desert warriors because a defeat meant exclusion and no chances to qualify to CAN 2012.
