Mercato: Algerian Striker Said Benrahma Is A Real Eye-Catcher For Arsenal And Chelsea!
Algerian international Said Benrahma, a member of Brentford FC (Championship), is being tracked by Premier League teams who would like to hire him for the winter mercato, reported British media Sportsmole”.
The 24-year-old Benrahma, who has been in top form since the start of the season, could end up the season on a higher scale in the Premier League, with clubs of Arsenal and Chelsea reportedly eager to sign him up.
Since arriving from French club of OCG Nice in 2018, the flashy Algerian striker has been in frenzy with Brentford FC, where he has distinguished himself with 14 goals in 61 appearances since making his debut for the English second division club.
The former Nice striker has shone on the English pitch, where he is establishing himself as a revelation after a few months of adapting to English football. After the match against Hull City, his coach ‘Thomas Frank’ said he fell under the spell of the 24-year-old Algerian forward:
“When Benrahma plays football like that, it’s a real pleasure to watch. His finishing is getting better and better and his forward passes are also incredible. He’s a great danger to the defense and when the other team’s players get close to him, he passes the ball to another one of our three strikers to do some damage.
His run and pass to teammate Kamohelo Mokotjo made it the best goal of the day for me. He’s excellent every time he gets the ball because he can create something out of nothing. Benrahma does it like magic and very few teams in this league have this kind of player. He becomes more and more serene as the games go on. When he runs towards the opposing defense, he is terrifying because he can go left or right on the pitch quite easily» .
