Military Backups to Secure Boumerdes From Suicide Attacks

Security authorities have stepped on important military backups to the province of Boumerdes, on the aftermath of the suicide bombing which targeted police headquarters in the neighbouring province of Tizi Ouzou.

Boumerdes has been put on alert to anticipate any terror attack, following the one that injured 38 people in Tizi Ouzou, and the foiling of a couple of terror ambushes set in Bouira province targeting security services and public spots. 

Commander of military operation at the National Army (ANP) has been to Boumerdes to follow up the dispatching of the military backups, as army forces and joint security services are working hand in hand to implement this security plan during the holy month of Ramadan, and ultimately securing the region from terror threats. 

 Meanwhile, security services have been reinforcing checkpoints in different roads, and formed squads in charge of watching up the city on the night to anticipate the intrusion of terrorists.
