More Conflicting News on the Release of the Rest of Algerian Diplomats
Reliable sources from Gao said that the movement of Tawhid and Jihad, led by Abou Komkoum Al Mauritani freed last Wednesday the Algerian Consul Boualem Sais, and the military attache at the consulate of Gao, and the others diplomats, who were all detained by the movement after their abduction in Gao the beginning of April, at a time other sources refuted this news.
The same sources added that the consul and the other diplomats were taken at night to the capital Bamako on Wednesday without any further details, explaining that the negotiation on the seven kidnapped diplomats ended in July the seventh, as they agreed on everything, including the release of the Algerians on two groups for security reasons.
The Algerian military team of negotiations, which represents the crisis cell that was created by the foreign ministry, returned back to Algeria, since the kidnapping incident.
Echorouk sources said that the first group of diplomats, who were released by the movement, were transferred to a safe place until completing the investigation before being deported to Algeria, awaiting the arrival of the rest of the diplomats with no more news for security reasons with the same condition for the first group, which was released after three days of release.
The sources revealed that the new steps of negotiations are important in the beginning of the crisis, but the involvement of al-Qaeda and specifically the battalion of Tarek Ben Ziad, led by Abdel-Hamid Abouzeid on the line, complicated and deleyed the negotiations after the lifting of ransom ransom to 15 million Euros and the release of Algerian and Mauritani detainees, as negtiations were postponed negotiations until reaching a new agreement which has led to the release of all Algerian hostages.
