Moroccans smuggling network dismantled in Algeria

Algerian National Gendarmerie forces Tuesday dismantled a network of smuggling Moroccans to Algeria to work in construction workshops and plaster carving.

The smugglers were three Algerians caught in Ain Timouchent province (west of Algeria). They were accompanying five Moroccans.

The arrest took place after the Gendarmerie National forces had set up a check point and stopped two cars carrying the suspects.

When questioned, the Algerian smugglers admitted they were in charge of smuggling Moroccans to work in plaster carving for villas owners in Algiers.
