Oil revenues reach $ 20 b during first four months of 2013

Collection of oil taxes during the first four months of 2013 allowed reaching revenues which exceeded 1.546 billion dinars, which is equivalent to $20.3.

Ministry of Finance announced that oil revenues reached 65.627 billion ZDZ, which the equivalent of 26.8 billion dollars, in the end of February 2012, and during the first four months of 2012 the same collection reached 1.338 billion dinars, as the total recorded tax collection was converted between January and April to the state treasury, according to the ministry, which added that the average price of the Algerian oil reached 05.109 dollars between January and May compared to 25.117 dollars during the same period of 2012.

Finance Act 2013, which was prepared on the basis of a reference price for a barrel of oil at $ 37 oil collection, reached 9 t 1.615 billion dinars (2.21 billion dollars) for the full year of 2013.

Therefore, oil taxation that has been collected during the first four months of the year, reached nearly 96% of the oil collection, which is included in the budget for 2013.

In the year 2012, the total collection expected reached in the fourth month of the year, and in the end of September 2012, 3.166 billion DA ($ 43 billion), of which 1.519 billion DA were devoted to the state treasury and 1 t 1.647 billion DA were diverted to the fund for adjusting the revenues.

With the calculation of the regular collection, the total revenues of the budget that were obtained during the first four months of the year, reached 5 t 2.238 billion DA (about 30 billion dollars), according to the same source, noting that the Finance Act 2013 has been prepared on the basis of the exchange rate with 76 ZDZ per dollar, while the actual expenditures of the treasury were estimated by 2 t 1.812 billion dinars (24 billion dollars) during the same period, more than three-quarters by 8t1.412 billion dinars allocated for management expenses.
