Ouyahia Expects Strong Relations With New Libya
Prime Minister Ahmed Ouyahia said he expects building strong relations with Libya, as soon as calm is restored there.
At the sidelines of the inauguration of Parliament Fall session on Sunday, Mr Ouyahia told reporters that “We are brothers and neighbours… our brothers in Libya will not leave, and we won’t leave too! As for bilateral relations, I’d say that certainly when stability and security are brought back, the sooner I wish, to brotherly Libya, our bilateral relations would become stronger.”
Yet, Mr Ouyahia expressed indignation towards parties that criticised Algeria for offering refuge to Gaddafi’s family members on humanitarian ground. He said there were not similar reaction when Saudi Arabia hosted Tunisia ousted president and his wife.
