Over 260.000 Algerians born in Mali deprived of the Algerian Citizenship

Residents of the municipalities of Bourdj Baji Moukhtar and Timaawin, and Beni Wasket in Adrar (south of Algeria), called upon the President and the Minister of Justice, to the need for urgent intervention in the case of delaying the process of granting the Algerian citizenship for citizens of these regions.

According to local sources,  over 260.000 Algerians are deprived of their citizenship and most of them come from  ‭ ‬ ‮ “‬ Gawa” in the‬ ‭ ‬ Republic of ‭ ‬ Mal  i. One of the citizens is ‭ ‬ wondering ‮ “‬ How ‭ ‬ ‭ ‬ Algerians in France want to be granted the French citienship if they refuse to grant the Algerian citizenship to the Sahel region‘s immigrants who live on its territories?‮  

Faced with this situation, in spite of all the bad circumstances, these people are looking for participation in elections, especially as one of the electoral lists is headed by a young man from the region of Bourdj Baji Mokhtar, where population of these areas ask him to raise their concerns to the highest authorities of the country.
