Party leader: Banned Islamic party shouldn’t come back again
The Algerian Moderates Party is set to organize its first meeting next Saturday with the participation of representatives from 48 provinces nationwide, though the party is still waiting the authorities’ approval since 2008 .

The party leader Abbas Allalou, has indicated that the upcoming legislative elections will be the first of the kind in terms of transparency, noting that the country is confronted to two choices; either undertaking a radical change to general policy , or living free wheel to conspirators with the aim to put Algeria on the list of the countries that need change.

Talking at Echourouk forum, allalou, who started his political career in the 1990s, has noted that the meeting will discuss several issues pertaining to the national scene as well as its role during the upcoming legislative elections.

M Allalou has explained the latent crisis that is prevailing on the political scene to the lack of a genuine opposition , billing the political opponents “ opportunists and saboteurs” , pointing to some parties in the regime that put forward their own interests over the country’s ones.

The interlocutor has further indicated that the crisis had cut off ties between the people and the regime, slashing at the cabinet’s members” there are some ministers whose main priority is limited to the itinerary between their homes and the airport”, he said.

Dwelling on the recent reforms conducted by the regime, M Allalou has indicated that cancer cannot be treated by the “ Paracetamol” , referring to the drug used for some illnesses , considering the reforms just a trick to delay the crisis.

As to the possibility of the come back of the banned Islamic party “ FIS” on the political scene, Allalou was crystal clear on the issue saying that this experience shouldn’t be repeated again because Islam is bigger than any party.
