Plan to blow up Ghardaia foiled

Security forces Monday seized large quantities of inflammable products, machines and iron sticks in the province of Ghardaia (south of Algeria) which were supposed to be used in attacks in the area of Berriane.

This comes as security forces learnt that a large number of people planned to blow up Berriane using inflammable products. The seized products were found in a big garage where more than 60 liters of fuel oil and gas, iron and wood sticks and gas masks were stored.

Two men were arrested as they were carrying knives and inflammable products.

Echorouk has learnt that security forces arrested more than 20 people involved in triggering conflict and violent acts in Ghardaia.
