PM Sellal clears debts of rented Chalets in Constantine, Mila
Prime Minister, Abdelmalek Sellal, decided to clear the debts of the occupants of Chalets in Constantine and Mila, eastern Algeria, and which are amounting to 170.000.00 ZDZ, in line with the action taken by the former Prime Minister, Ahmed Ouyahia, with residents of Chlef chalets, western Algeria.
Prime Minister, Abdelmalek Sellal, agreed on June 11, on the proposal that was conveyed to him by the Minister of Housing andUrbanism, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to clear the “late debts owed by the occupants of rental chalets in both Mila and Constantine.
According to the correspondence that was sent by the Director of Cabinet to the Prime Minister Mahdi Nouari, to the Minister of Housing on June 11, on measures to replace the chalets of Constantine and Mila; “You refused to present to the prime minister aprocedure for a late clearance of rents estimated at 117,313,572 dinars … following the example of the same action taken in 2008for the benefit of the occupants of chalets in Chlef, and as to the exceptional nature of this file, I have the honor to inform you thatMr. Prime Minister expressed his approval of the suggestion. “
In the same correspondence the PM asked the Housing Minister to inform the Ministry of Finance of the action taken; “You are requested to submit a file to the Ministry of Finance for the purpose of study.”
Former Prime Minister, Ahmed Ouyahia, has taken similar actions for the benefit of chalets in Chlef, through clearing the entiredebt of the poor families, which remain under the tutelage of the Office of Upgrading and Management of Real Estate in Chlef, as the decision included nearly 700 families.
