PM Sellal: “Council of ministers’ meeting unnecessary for the time being”
Algerian Prime Minister, Abdelmalek Sellal, has affirmed that the holding of a cabinet meeting is not necessary for the moment stressing that the government is pursuing its activities and meets every Wednesday.
In a statement to the press on Monday on the sidelines of the opening of the national popular Assembly in Algiers, Mr Abdelmalek Sellal, said that an important number of draft laws would be examined by the council of ministers before being submitted to Parliament.
The Prime Minister also asserted that he was in almost daily coordination with the President of the Republic Abdellaziz Bouteflika.
He further indicated that the government reshuffle was part of the prerogatives of the President of the Republic.
