Political parties eager to know the outcome of the consultations

A number of political personalities who took part to the latest round of consultations initiated by the Algerian president Abdelaziz Boutefika have raised concern over the delay in announcing the outcome nearly a month and half after their completion.

  •

  • Some have declared that secret ongoing talks with the military institution were the cause behind this delay.

  •

  • In declarations to Echourouk the leader of the Algerian National Front party Moussa Touati said that secret negotiations with the military institution took place in parallel with those led by the president of the senate Abdelkader Ben Salah , were the cause behind this delay.

  •

  • The previous head of the Human Rights League Hocine Zehouane raises three probabilities; the first one is due the fact that the large number of participants and suggestions alike requires a longer period to announce the outcome, the second possibility could be the difficulty encountered by the president to take appropriate decisions and the last could be linked to the head of state health condition.

  •

  •

  • For his part the head of Enahdha movement Fateh Rebiei has called for making public the outcome f the consultations at earliest in order t avert any foreign intervention according to him.
