Presidential Elections 2014: Mohamed Said calls for a “white voting”

Freedom and Justice Party called for participation in April 17 Presidential Elections with a white voting, because of what he described as the continuation of the existing system on sticking to the current situation at any cost, without change, denouncing the practices of the parties in power which impose their choice on the activities of the civil society and businessmen.
A statement by the Freedom and Justice Party, which came as a result of the National Bureau, which copy is available to Echorouk, explained that the office and after a long discussion decided to participate in the Presidential Elections, and that the voting is a political right.
“The party calls for a white voting on April 17. The political climate which came before the start of the electoral campaign, could hurt the legitimacy of the next president. I called upon the political forces for collective thinking in compromise solutions to the current situation.”
Statement of Mohamed Said Part, denounced the pressures that were exerted by the parties in power on associations and organizations, and businessmen to adopt their choice, noting that it reveals the immoral methods that are used, and that oppose the principle of freedom of people’s choice.
Same statement condemned the boycotters and opponents from participating in the electoral campaign, and asked for respecting their rights and the right of all citizens to peaceful and free expression.
Freedom and Justice Party accused the authority of failing to solve the problem of Ghardaia (eastern Algeria), and being incapable of finding solutions to the causes of the crisis, and appealed the civil society and wise men, to redouble their efforts to put out the fire of sedition, and spare the country the pretext of looking for foreign powers to intervene on behalf of the protection of minorities.
