Price Of The Cheapest Car -3 Year Old Reaches 9000 Euros In Europe

The price of the cheapest car in the European market reached 9,000 euros, according to the cars sale on websites this week, and it is related to vehicles less than 3 years, which the Finance Law of 2020 allows to import to Algerians citizens, the former chairman of the Multi-brand Auto Dealership Association, Youcef Nebbache, told Echorouk.

He explains that the procedure will enter into service once the Finance Law 2020 is issued in the Official Gazette, while the Algerians boycott the French market, which proposes very high prices, and their demand for the German and Austrian markets, which are cheaper, and then the Italian market, due to the proximity of the distance, knowing that the procedure may be practical in the first week of January – that is, within 10 days -.

“The prices today are very high in Europe, and the price of the cheapest vehicle is 9000 euros, equivalent to 200 million centimes in case of currency exchange in Algeria and calculating the cost of transportation, knowing that the price of the cheapest car that is produced in 2017 in the French market is equivalent to 11.000 euros, which makes the Algerians reject it in a remarkable way, and they prefer the German and Austrian markets that offer better prices than those approved in other markets, and then to a lesser degree the Italian market, due to its proximity to Algeria, as the customer moves through the ship to Tunisia, then he/she continues to transport his/her car overland to Algeria, to reduce the financial cost”.

“Algerian government’s decision to authorize the import of cars less than 3 years would not contribute to solving the cars’ crisis in Algeria, given that these agents had previously requested vehicles for less than 5 years, and they proposed this through the Finance and Budget Committee of the National People’s Assembly, except that MPs refused to approve it which further complicated the crisis in Algeria”.

According to an inspection tour of the used car sale website in France, “La Central”, the prices of cars less than 3 years ranged between 11.000 and 30.000 euros for ordinary tourist vehicles on Wednesday, and prices are much higher for luxury vehicles. For example, the price of a Toyota HR 2017 is fair, 21.000 euros, while the price of Toyota Yaris 3 is 11.000 euros, and the price of the Ford Focus is 11.000 euros and Ford Fiesta 10.000 euros, and for Peugeot 308, the price reaches 20.000 euros and Peugeot 208 price is 11.000 euros.
