A source very close to the file told Echorouk that some properties and real estate was purchased in the area of ​​Sharm El-Sheikh in Egypt, in the framework of commissions and bribes that were obtained in the framework of large contracts that were obtained by the Company (Orascom) for industry in the hydrocarbon sector, fertilizers, cement and construction, infrastructure and electric power in the period between 2003 and 2010, a period in which the company recorded a strong entrance to the Algerian market.

Chakib Khelil’s wife, an American of Palestinian origin, work in many fields, including construction, as she previously implemented projects in Algeria in the energy sector in collaboration with companies from Syria, Lebanon and Cyprus, while one of his sons works in the trade of oil, and has already done several operations for oil trade, which Sonatrach stored in South Korea.
