Psychiatric medicine on top of the list of imported madicines in Algeria

A formal report issued by the Ministry of Health and Population, which contained a list of 100 imported medicines, that are best sellers in Algeria, reveals a real disaster, according to the report,it is about an unprecedented rise of the invoice of medicines which are directed for the insanity and mental illness, including various schizophrenia in Algeria during the 15 last years.

• The report added that Algeria is on the verge of a very critical stage, which is the rise of a staggering bill for imported medicines and pharmaceutical products that are directed for the treatment of mental illness and deseases associated with arterial pressure, heart disease and diabetes.
