Rabah Madjer to Echorouk: “I envisage to be a movie actor and to present a sport broadcast at the Algerian TV”

In an exclusive statement to the newspaper “Echorouk”, the former star of the Algeria football squad Rabah Madjer dwells on his future movie and TV projects bringing into the limelight his exceptional footballing career accomplished here in Algeria and in Europe, notably with the Portuguese side of FC Porto.  

• Rabah Madjer said that he was planning to play a leading role in a movie essentially devoted to the sporting world, as he put it.

• He indicated, in this respect, that he had first to come to terms on certain points with the producer and the screenwriter, before embarking upon the shooting of the film.

• He also revealed that he was preparing a special documentary with the Algerian television focusing on the big moments of his successful football career with the Algeria squad and with FC Porto with whom he won the prestigious European cup of Champions with flying colours.

• Rabah Madjer further noted that he was also gearing up for a sports program on the Algerian TV especially dedicated to national and foreign football guest-stars with the aim of shedding light on their brilliant sporting careers and making them better known to the Algerian TV viewers.

• This projected TV broadcast will be entitled: “Between the stars”.

• Furthermore, according to an online poll conducted by the newspaper “Echorouk”, about the fittest coach possible for the national football squad, 53.83 % of those questioned demanded the return of Rabah Madjer to the helm of the Fennecs.
