Raouraoua urges the Greens to honour the Arabs and the Muslims versus the United States

The chairman of the Algerian football federation, Mohamed Raouraoua, met last night in Pretoria with the players of the national squad and the technical staff with the aim of sensitizing them to the paramount importance of securing victory in next Wednesday's decisive Group C World cup match versus the national squad of the United States of America. 

• Raouraoua urged the players of the Algeria squad to live up to the expectations of the Algerians, the Arabs and the Muslims by carrying the day in all sportsmanship and fair play versus the strong team of the United States in order to go through to the second round of the world cup competition.

• He said that a victory over the squad of the United States would be a telling landmark in Algerian football and a solid boost for the Greens in the second round of the competition.

• He further urged the players to face up adamantly to the challenge and clinch the three points of victory versus the USA in order to prove the potency and resilience of the national squad in the world football arena.

• The chairman of the Algerian football federation finally enjoined all the players of the national squad to strictly abide by the internal regulations and to avoid any damaging squabbling or bitter expostulations in case a player is not incorporated by the coach within the starting eleven stressing that any “troublemaker” would be severely punished.
