Religious Ministry:”Fatawa Ala El Hawa” dangerous on the unity of Algerians
Ministry of Religious Affairs warned of the fatwas that were issued by Non-Algerian Scholars and Imams, which could hit the higher interest of the country and its religious ideology.
President of the Association of Muslim Scholars called upon Algerian Scholars for more confident, and stick in the religious reference to promote the doctrinal of unity, and the Syndicate of Imams called for the need to appoint a Mufti of the Republic.
Sheikh Djalloul Kassoul, Imam of Al Qods Mosque in Algiers and Head of the Fatwa Office at the Ministry told APS, that the fatwa varies according to time and place, as well as people, warning citizens who connect with scholars from Saudi Arabia, Egypt and other Arab countries to inquire about religious issues or Fatwa,”Because it is about the trade and passing messages that could hit the higher interest of the nation, and our reference and unity and religious thought”.
“This does not mean not to contact them, but to know their thought first. The rule is the same in all Muslim countries, because the rule is Islam, but the fatwa is different in time and place, and evolve depending on the evolution of society. Algerian Scholars compete the rest of the Scholars in terms of jurisprudence”, he added.
